WISH

He wished for death every day
Every day seemed just another wasteful day
He wished to be crushed by the speeding train or to be choked by the noose on the ceiling fan
He wished to drown into the bath tub or get fried in the morning sun
But death hated him
Never even got close to him
Longed for it more than any lover would
With all the means to embrace it but not the guts
He begged and begged n begged
People around him loved him so much that they killed him with their love
But that’s not the death he wanted
He wanted a different end
Life seemed a little better one day
The sun soothed his pain and the water calmed his brain
Every view was a different view
Like changing glasses changed the shades
Yellow and red became the new black and grey
Life seemed brighter than a dusty light bulb
love and longing felt more like a cup of hot chocolate
He wished for a peck on his cheek..just a brush of innocence
But he got a sinful kiss
So sudden and deep
He wished for it for a lifetime and somebody gave it to him
the day he wanted it the least
kissed and left him alone
the greatest sin a lover could make
dipped him into itself and threw him out when he was about to drown
but do you complain if the lover is death?
Left him motionless with only a mind to contemplate
Then started his life again
The wish to die everyday
Complaining to death for not making love to him
For coming to him the day he found another love
